Role & Contribution
Regional Policy & Governance Ambassadors ensure that Smart Ageing innovation is aligned with regional, national and European policy priorities. They act as a bridge between public authorities, innovation ecosystems and the SAge-Hub network.
Their role focuses on:
- Aligning Smart Ageing initiatives with Smart Specialisation Strategies (S3) and regional development plans
- Supporting policy co-creation and coordination across regions
- Facilitating regulatory dialogue and public-sector engagement
- Helping translate SAge-Hub outcomes into policy instruments, roadmaps and public support mechanisms
By strengthening governance alignment, these Ambassadors enable Smart Ageing solutions to scale sustainably and be embedded in long-term public strategies.
