European Innovation Ecosystems Meet: From Iași to Larissa

At the end of March 2026, two major innovation events will bring together stakeholders from across Europe, creating a unique opportunity for collaboration, networking and business development.

On 26 March, the conference organised by Digital Innovation Zone will take place in Iași, Romania, gathering innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers and policymakers to discuss the future of digital transformation and innovation. The event will also include a dedicated onsite B2B matchmaking programme, allowing participants attending the conference to connect directly with potential partners and collaborators.

Immediately afterwards, on 27–28 March, JOIST Innovation Park together with the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development will host Innovent Forum 2026 in Larissa, Greece, a major science and technology event designed to strengthen collaboration between startups, SMEs, research organisations, investors and innovation stakeholders.

To maximise networking opportunities and extend participation beyond physical attendance, Innovent Forum also offers a dedicated B2B matchmaking platform powered by the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). Through this platform, companies can participate both onsite and online, schedule targeted meetings and connect with organisations from multiple European ecosystems.

Together, these two events create a cross-regional innovation pathway, connecting ecosystems from different European regions and enabling meaningful collaboration between innovators, entrepreneurs and technology leaders.

For the SAge-Hub project, these events are particularly important as they will also mark the launch of the SAge-Hub SME Call, inviting innovative companies to engage with the programme and expand their activities across European markets.

Through initiatives like these, SAge-Hub and SustainX   /#I3 Instruments/ demonstrate how European projects actively strengthen innovation ecosystems by connecting people, ideas and opportunities across borders.
